I am not shy to say that I was looking forward to seeing Annas cousin Chloe in Samar. She is such a nice girl to be around of. I felt like I had a younger sister and she was taking care of me. She welcomed us with open arms and showed us around Catbalogan. It is such a small city, but it is so welcoming to visitors. Her family was very nice to me and I got to hold another baby...I am eager to have children with Anna. All the guys that saw her picture told me that she is very beautiful. I would become a bit defensive as am part of Deuda family as well. Anyways, we ate at her house even though there was no electricity. I took their scooter and went to buy some food at Jolibee for everyone. It was nice to have a candle light dinner with her little brother, Joyce their cousin and Anna with me. I hope to see her next time we go to the Philippines or when she comes to Canada to work!

I'd be a great dad
There is one thing that everyone tells me, "Jason you'd make such a good father". I totally agree with every one of you! I get a daddy feeling much more when I am with Anna or surrounded by others babies. I just cannot wait to be a father. It is the most exciting aspect of family life: to bring new life to this world. Just holding the little one, like in this picture gives me a big smile and for good reasons. You cannot be a good father without having an amazing mother. In that area, Anna Lou is more than ready to be a great mom. Once we are together in Canada we want to start to have a family. We can start by one and for the next one's...we can plan for them! I always joke to Anna that we can have a football team, but then again that might be too many kids to have....maybe :)

Ormoc Leyte
For our honeymoon we decided to go to Samar. Our first arrival was to Ormoc Leyte. We had the great idea to see General McArthurs arrival to free the Philippines from the Japanese army. It was really great to see those statues because I had written about McArthur in my last semester of university. It was cloudy but as you can see in the picture it kinda adds to the drama of the scene! It was really calm in the area because there was literilly almost nobody around. The grounds were not polluted by garbage and even the water had no trace of trash as well. I felt proud to be in the presence of such a great general that kept his promise to the people. On my wifes friendster she has this picture and in the caps she wrote...The lost son of McArthur.

I will see you in July!
As of now, my friend Moon Ju as left for Canada. We brought him to the airport quite early this morning around 6am. He told me on several occasions that his time in the Philippines has been magnificent. I know that sister-in-laws were very happy to see him...as they enjoy Korean dramas! Although I am sad that he has to leave, I know that I will be seeing him mid-July. Again, he will be there for me because I will be more than sad to go back to Canada. Just thinking of leaving my wife and everyone else behind breaks my heart! I will see you in July Moon Ju, so do not bore yourself to death without me, he he.

Going back to Japan
Today my friends have left to go back to Japan. Mariko, Satoko, Miyuki and Wallace are still on the plane as I write this! I cannot start to thank them to have been there on our wedding day. All four of them have never been to the Philippines and they all enjoyed their time here. They were happy to experience a Filipino wedding, people and culture that they will continue to remember as they grow older. If they ever read this post, I thank all four of you for being here for me. I will never forget your words nor will I forget your smiles of joy!

So drunk...
Yesterday was a night to remember becasue we went out to Paseo. Paseo is an awesome place that has many many bars and in the top middle their is a huge stage where bands can play music. I went there with Anna, her brother Frtiz, Ann Christine with her two friends and my two friends Mariko & Satoko. I ordered at least 20 bottles of beer! I ended drinking almost all the beers...at least 13 bottles. We danced the night away and when it was time to go home...lets just say I had double vision! The only thing I remember was going back home and getting out of the car to vomit. I explicitly remember Anna saying, "It's ok you can let it out". As soon as she said that it came all out. When we woke up, we had a good laugh about it though, hehe.

New friends
While being in the Philippines with Anna, I have come to meet two new friends. Their names are Mari Jo and Carina. We actually met Mari Jo at the Sarosa Hotel where our reception was being held. She is the sales representative that was issued to us. Carina is a real nice girl that I tried to hook up with my friend Moon Ju. Although the hooking up part didn't work, she has been a very good friend to us. She works for Suarez diamond store. She sells rings to couples with dreams of their future. Both girls are always happy and smiling. God has a strange way of putting people together and Anna & I are very happy to have them part of our lives.

Our special day!
Yesterday June 5th, 2008 it was my wedding with Anna Lou Deuda. I am happy to announce Mrs.Anna Lou Dance as of now. The amount of happiness is insurmountable! Our wedding day past so fast that neithger of us saw the day go by. We had a church wedding that was held in Mandaue. We then had a reception at the Sarosa International Hotel. Another reception was being held at our house in Cordova. The party was already raging on as most of the men were drunk and wanted me to drink. Everyone was eating, drinking, dancing and singing. My friends were having lots of fun as well. Anna Lou was so beautiful and I am looking forward to many years of happiness with her...and several children, haha.

Canada to Korea..Korea to Cebu!
I am so happy at this moment because my best friend Moon Ju has arrived from Korea. He and I both live in the same city of Montreal. He went to Korea to attend his brothers wedding with his long time girlfriend Leya. He agreed to be my best man at my wedding and I could not think of anyone better suited to be that man. He has always been there for me during the bad and the good! Outside the airport he was smoking a cigarette and sweating like crazy. He is not used to travelling as I am, so warm humid weather is not something that he is used to at the moment. He will be staying with us for a bit more than one week, so I do hope that he will enjoy his time here. It is the first time he has been in a third world country, so he will have to get used to some differences. I know that he is happy to be here with us and to be part of my wedding. I could not ask for a better friend than Moon Ju!
