Another day looking for work...I find it somewhat depressing trying to find work this time of year. Students mostly take over all the jobs available until they go back to school. I keep seeing on the news that they need people to fill certain jobs. The problem with bigger companies these days is that they hardly give a chance to prove your worth as an employee. So many times I applied to jobs even though they asked for a ridiculous amount of working experience. I have even received some rejections stating that my experience is not sufficient. If only they would give people like myself a chance to prove their skills, they would not regret it! We will see how everything turns out. I am sure to find a job soon enough...

I am back home
I am back home at this moment in Montreal. I do not feel very good being back home with all the same boring routines that it entitles. The flights back home felt more like days than hours. It is not that I do not like Canada...I just want Anna Lou to be in Canada with me then I will be happy. I will start looking for work soon and I will do all the paper work related to immigration to Canada. I guess we will both be busy as to not be sad like a pair of monkeys...I will miss her every waking moment until I lay eyes on her again! I will not rest until we are together again as we said in our vows.

Leaving soon
I am writing this in the hopes that I will read again later on and realize it was a good sacrifice. I am leaving on July 16th back to Canada. There is nothing more in this world that I wish more than to stay here with my wife. Being with her is the most wonderful thing I could ever ask for. I know that the road ahead of us will be difficult, but we will manage. We are both strong individuals that believes in our relationship and more so in our marriage! This small sacrifice will be for our future. We will remember the time spent apart because until we are able to just feel each others breath...it will seem like an eternity apart. I love you Anna Lou and will do so for the rest of my life! I cherish you more than you know and I will not feel whole again until I am with you.

My poor pigs...into Lechon!
Before I arrived in Cebu, Anna had asked me if I wanted to buy some pigs for our wedding. We would eventually use the pigs to make Lechon. Lechon is a famous Filipino dish that is really good! I had four pigs that kinda grew on me because back in Canada we attach ourselves to animals quite fast. I remember on June 4th, my tatay and two other men killed one of my pigs before we left the house. I have heard horrible sounds before, but the sound that a pig makes is excruciating to hear. I watched blood being pored into a canister and boiling water being pored over the pig to finish it off. It might seem savage or brutal to some people; however, they have been making Lechon for as long they can remember. They know the best way to make it and how the pig would have to be terminated. I felt sad that they had to go, but they gave great joy to peoples stomachs on my wedding day. I have to admit that I did not think about my pig when I was cutting some pieces from one of them at the house! I just wrote this post because I heard some pigs squeal today while coming back home.

Sumilon Island
As a family outing, our tatay decide we should go to Sumilon Island. We left the house around 4am and we arrived at Sumilon. Tatays brother-in-law is the Manager of the whole Resort Island. We were all happy to see him and he greeted us so well. The Island is real paradise for those looking for peace and quiet. The water is crystal clear and you can see the fish going around about their business until my tatay can catch them, he he. We did kayaking at the lack early morning. We had some great lunch...mostly meat as I love. Anna & I went around the island and let me tell you it did not take much time to go around the Island. Her siblings came with us to swim on one part of the Island. The water is amazing I just could not believe it. We left the Island around 6pm and arrived back home at about 9pm or so. We all had a wonderful time together as a family!

Fun with guns!

Alright, it's time for a man's dream...to have guns and have fun! There is no denying it, I love guns. I love the way they look, the sound they make, how big or small they are and most of all when your wife has one it makes them ULTRA SEXY!!! I guess it's just a man's fantasy to see his wife with a gun in her hands. Chloe's father is in the military and he is an officer in the Special Forces. In his house he has an undisclosed amount of weapons. Lets just say...nobody will be robbing his house anytime soon. Well the rifle that I have my hands is very much real. I wish I could have given it a couple of tries in the back, but maybe the military camp in the back would be on alert! The other picture is my wife with an M16 with a bad ass face...well I think it's supposed to be bad ass. When we retire back to the Philippines later on, I absolutely want to have one or more guns in my house. Being a foreigner in the PI can make you an easy target for robbery, but nobody will be touching my house nor anyone that will reside in it. Next time I visit I will definitely be going to the shooting range. I will ask to try a shotgun and a couple of riffles.
